We will pay for online shopping not only by bank transfer or by credit card. For this purpose, you can also use the credit card payment via the internet if you do not want to use your own cash at this time.
What is the main difference between a credit card and a traditional debit or payment card? The credit card as the name suggests is a card under which we receive money from the bank in the form of a loan. When paying with a credit card, we do not use our own funds but the money made available to us by the bank in the form of a certain limit on the card.
Credit card can bring us much more benefits than a traditional loan or loan in a bank
First of all, we can use the interest-free period on your credit card. This gives us, depending on the bank in which we reach for the card, from 52 to even 58 days of the interest-free period for non-cash transactions. What does it mean? By making a credit card payment online or paying for purchases in the store, interest is not charged immediately, and only after the period without interest. Thanks to this, if we are able to make a quick and full repayment of the debt on the credit card, we can avoid paying additional interest. All we have to do is repay only the full amount we used to make purchases. The interest-free period does not include cash transactions, so if you withdraw cash in cash using an ATM. In this situation, interest is calculated from the moment of payment.
How to pay by credit card via the internet
Contrary to appearances, this is a very simple operation and close to the payments we make using traditional online transfers. When making a payment for online shopping, when choosing a payment instead of the Transfers option, we select the Cards option. At this point, most often find the tab with the Visa / Mastercard logo. After clicking it, we will be shown a form in which we will have to provide certain details of our credit card. It will definitely be the Card Number (it will be 16 digits given on the front of the credit card), the validity date of the card (so-called valid dates or valid thru – data provided immediately under the card number) and the CVV2 / CVC2 card security code (three digits on the card) back of the card next to the signature). Sometimes it is also required to provide the card holder with the name and full address. Once we have filled in this information, all we have to do is click the Pay button to finalize the transactions.
So we made a credit card payment online
We are happy with the purchases made and what next? Of course, sooner or later, we will have to repay our credit card debt. If we want to incur as little as possible, it is obviously the cheapest solution to fit into the previously mentioned period without interest. The credit card gives us the freedom to repay the debt on a credit card, we can regulate it in any way. If we do not have the opportunity, or simply do not want to pay this debt in a short time, we can adjust it gradually. In the case of credit cards, the bank does not impose on us in advance what payments we have to make monthly. For example, in one month, we can deposit PLN 200 and in another one PLN 50. In the case of credit card repayment, the most important thing is to make a minimum amount set by the bank. We should receive information about this amount from the bank every month, usually via SMS.
